Sorry I have abandoned this site for the offseason, but my record coverage of Hockey East games has turned me away for the winter. I am back and ready for baseball, but the location for my coverage has changed as some may know from last season. Last August, I joined on to the staff ofBostonSportsU18.com as Hockey East beat reporter and baseball correspondent, so that is where you can find the same great baseball coverage — just under a different name. However, this blog will remain open as my baseball archives from the 2010 season.
Also, follow me on Twitter @joshuakummins to follow the latest on all things New England baseball (and Hockey East)!
I am pleased to announce that I am the newest contributor to BostonSportsU18.com, a “website developed for the passionate Boston Sports fan under the age of 18.” The team currently consists of 13 bloggers from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island that cover New England’s professional and minor league teams.
Over the course of the year, I will mainly provide coverage of baseball and college hockey. I will be the first beat writer to cover college hockey for the site.
Please stay tuned to BostonSportsU18.com for more great coverage of Boston sports from some young sports journalists. Also, join BSU18′s Facebook group for the latest updates.
We hope you enjoyed our Cape Cod Baseball League coverage this week. Over the course of the rest of the season, we will keep providing daily scoreboard updates on our Cape League page.
We also are planning on covering a couple more games later in the summer, including a possible trip to Wareham next Sunday afternoon when the Gatemen will host the Harwich Mariners at Spillane Field.
Beginning tomorrow, our Red Sox coverage will resume regularly with “Red Sox Today” and “Sox Summary.”
Tonight’s game is still on from LeLacheur Park, but we have retreated back to safety due to the impending bad weather that was forecasted. We will head back to Lowell tomorrow for the final game of the series and homestand as much better weather will greet us!
Here is another brief podcast from us! Thanks for your understanding.
I will be providing baseball coverage for the Toppi Times this season! The Toppi Times is a website that will feature news, sports, and a whole lot more!
Please take the time to check it out today and make it a daily stop, along with our two sites.
From the staff of the Kid’s Club Times comes a new blog dedicated to baseball in New England, KCT Baseball. Here you will find daily updates and news on the Red Sox, plus coverage from diamonds all over the area.
